Nokomis is located along the Gulf Coast below Sarasota, FL. South of Osprey and just north of charming town of Venice. The town has access to the coast through Nokomis Public Beach and Casey Key. 

You can enjoy the Legacy Trail for 2.5 miles to walk, jog or bicycling including a water crossing at the Shakett Creek (Dona Bay) bridge.

Casey Key is the barrier island to the northwest, where there are luxurious beachfront houses lining the key.
